Just another wannabe Republican or antagonist Democrat at best, much like Manchin, Gabbard, etc. She would have missed having her ass kissed by Dems in the next Congress so now she'll be assessing the grift from both sides in personal power-plays. Maybe she's just jealous of the strife in the House. LOL. How much longer do we consider AZ & GA 'red states' anyway, as all 4 Senators are (now, were) Democrats?
"Kyrsten Sinema single-handedly stopped Democrats from ending a tax break for hedge-fund managers and private equity executives. Meanwhile, she received ~$1 million in donations from Wall Street. Don’t be fooled: Sinema isn't “independent.” She's beholden to her donors." - Robert Reich
^^Reich is only stating the obvious - which could be levied across all of Congress and our supposedly non-corrupt political system.
She's clearly a conflicted woman but I do wonder, however, if she was openly bisexual while at BYU or simply hid it like so many other 'honor code' violators.
She knows she is going to be primaried in two years so she thinks she is being cagey. Sanders and Angus King are both Independents that caucus with the Dems. The party does not run a democrat against them when they run for Senate. Sinema thinks she can hold a gun to the head of the party and the Dems won't run a candidate against her now that she is an Independent for fear or putting a Republican in the seat.
What she doesn't understand is both Sanders and King are actually popular in their states while, according to polling, no one of in any party can stand her anymore. So we shall see.
Hate to say this but the Green Party in the US seems more and more like a launching pad for grifters.
I'm definitely not a fan of Sinema and believe she's clearly out for her own misguided interests.
Having said that, I believe the Dems have done a MISERABLE job at addressing the underlying broken structural issues that have gotten us to the point where Trumpism is appealing to a third+ of Americans. While there's clearly not a "deep state conspiracy", there's a reason why it might seem as such. Citizens United benefits both sides of the aisle and Dems haven't even lifted a finger to address electoral / campaign finance reform.
Instead of changing the order of which states begin the primaries, how about a wholesale change to the system that doesn't allow thumbs to be placed on the scale ... such as holding all states on the same day with rank choice; perhaps two stages if it's necessary to vet candidates over time?

Senate Democrats’ election reform bill includes campaign finance law overhaul
By Jimmy Cloutier
January 19, 2022 4:32 pm
Update: The Senate failed to advance the election reform legislation 49-51.
The Senate is expected to vote Wednesday on legislation that, if enacted, would not only expand access to the ballot box but also overhaul campaign finance laws to reduce the influence of big money and foreign interests in elections.
The Democratic-backed bill, which combines two separate measures already passed by the House, faces long odds. Senate Democrats need a supermajority to pass voting rights and election reform, meaning they will need to either win over 10 Republicans or eliminate the filibuster, the longstanding chamber rule requiring legislation to secure 60 votes to advance.
She hasn't been in the Green party for twenty years, I think you can take a closer look at the party she's been most successful in. JS calling yourself independent doesn't make you one, look at Sanders.

NEW: Kyrsten Sinema received a flood of donations from Wall Street and private equity before switching parties.
Sinema's PAC just had its biggest fundraising quarter yet, and at least 40% of the money was from private equity and hedge fund figures.
