What Hillary did was illegal and she should've been prosecuted for it, but she was protected by Loretta Lynch and James Comey.

Even if Ivanka was using hotmail, it would've been a lot more secure than what Hillary did.

Sorry, but if I'm not mistaken the rules state that government employees of this type may ONLY communicate official business via the official email. It doesn't matter what your setup is or isn't outside of that - you're not allowed to use it.

Hell, I'm a teacher at a random school in Chile and I know enough to not communicate company business on my personal email. How does somebody who works for the President not just naturally assume that's the case at their job?

I work in the securities industry and using a private email address for business purposes is likely to get you fired and subject to severe regulatory actions.

What Ivanka did was clearly stupid and against the rules, and there should be repercussions for that.

The only documents they found were some that were marked Secret which is routinely stamped on all kinds of documents. Nothing of any real import was on the server and there is no evidence that anything was lost from that server

There were emails on her aides laptop who was married to Weiner. They synced and some of those emails ended up on Weiners email. She transfer didn't them and once again nothing of any importance was found on his laptop. Even though Comey breathlessly said they were investigating days before the election breaking every Justice Department rule and then found nothing.

There is no statue of limitations and she could easily have been prosecuted by Trump and Sessions. The reason she was not prosecuted was because she made a mistake but didn't break any rules

Ivanka wasn't using hotmail just like Clinton she was using her own domain. At this point no one knows how secure it was

This whole thing is just stupid and the dems should let it drop. Hillary made a minor mistake, nothing leaked, and she should have stopped doing it. By pretending that Ivanka did something wrong it plays into the whole Hillary and her emails. 

If Ivanka did anything wrong or illegal, did Hillary also do something wrong or illegal? 

I'm mad because I just learned she is having face surgery.  Really, there is nothing wrong with natural beauty. 

I ran my own smtp server at home for a while. It was WAY more secure than hotmail, gmail or any corporate mail server I have ever seen.  People that don’t know keep saying a home server is not secure, in fact it could be more secure.

In any case if you are working for the government you have to follow rules and use official email for official business period.  Ivanka and Clinton were both wrong but Ivanka, having been so close to the 2016 election, would totally know that was wrong and has zero excuse other than stupidity.

Don't forget, that most of Trumps cabinet including Pence also had similar email snafus...

Do you have an actual copy of the top secret email or did someone on fox news tell you that? Comey investigated the emails in detail, nothing of any harm found.

Comey also is the one that put frump in office with his email investigation announcement right before the election, his statement at least contributed greatly to frumps winning. If he was protecting Hillary he never would have made the damning announcement, it was too close at that point.

Don't forget Colin Powell and Condi. If Hillary gets it so should Powell. The problem is there was such a huge deal made out of it by the trumpers then they turn around and simply ignore all the regulations they made such a huge deal about it and basically do the exact same thing, although dumbo using his cell phone is worst than anything Powell or Hillary did. Nobody said boo about Powell until they started harassing Hillary about it. They already investigated Hillary and chose not to press charges, let them investigate little miss trumpette and see what they find.
