Forums:

Looks just like the photo here,  but without the Snazzy Metal - spool cassettes.

The right side deck works (REC / PLAY)  but the lefty (PLAY)  just clicks,  probably bad motor.  Oh well.  Thing has Dolby B & C !!  Made in Japan,  ca. mid-80's.  Thing is in super-Cherry condition.

Just discovered my old Denon DRM 500 has a slllooowwww motor   - sucks.

Trying to transfer a few cassettes to disc- must shop around now.

Klondie, just a thought - from someone who doesn't know.

Would it be possible to transfer the cassette to your computer, then speed up the recording in your computer to what it ought to be, then save that file and burn it?

Just wondering.

Easiest SLC winter in a damned long time.

A good forum for tape deck topics:

I think they mention your Denon somewhere in that thread.

Slick - I actually have a pitch control on one of my CD players (another Denon)- I can speed it up that way(playback)  on to my stand alone CD recorder- I just moved that CD player to my other system though.

I'd rather score another used  cassette deck  in good condition.

Stu has the coolest paperweights.

It is actually a Groovy paperweight, which also plays and records audio cassettes.

And the price was right (free).

Crank up the old Victrola.

You don't do heavy metal in Dubly, you know.

That's Dublin not DUBLY
