While I'm a huge fan of the barefoot boys, I'm just not ready for such a mass gathering. I'm still working on getting together with people I know that are vaccinated.
Planning on going to see Bob & Wolf Bros next week as a bit of a "trial run", but also seeing a pulmonologist at National Jewish Health in Denver earlier in the day on the 8th (after having had a crapload of tests about a week ago) to find out the results so far. The doctor hinted at possibly having an autoimmune disorder, so that or other results might change things for me on the concert / public exposure front.
My general plan for the Wolf Bros at least is to always have a tight-fitting N95 dust mask handy and avoid getting caught in crowds by entering / leaving early and finding pockets of space to hang out on - even it if entails retreating to the periphery and sacrificing "good spots". Likewise, keeping aware to not get roped into letting my guard down when I run into old friends or the overly friendly drunk or spun.
I believe Wolf Bros capacity is capped at roughly 2/3, but cheese looks to be wide open ... so that's got me a little more concerned about space to retreat to. Friday might be a good baramoter ... I can always leave if I feel uncomfortable and even skip Saturday if it's looking like that'd be the worst of the three in terms of crowds.
It's Official! I'm Colorado Bound!!! Booked my Tickets, Flight & Hotels for 3 Nights of String Cheese Incident @ the magical Red Rocks Ampitheater in Mid-July!!! The Stars have aligned for my Bucket List wish to see SCI in their Home-State Backyard ! Red Rocks is the coolest Venue in North America!
