Scalper told me to "go away" outside Telluride Bluegrass Festival

Forums:

... after I jones'd in on the preliminary communication he had with a potential seller. I immediately told them both I had no qualms doing so because he was a scalper looking to flip the ticket and I was looking to attend the festival. After learning the seller was far off from what I was looking to spend, the scalper repeats "go away" to me and I just told him "whatever dude".

Do scalpers have any "rights of courtesy" re: others moving in on transactions?

Is there a water fountain there???

You'll be happy to know that I don't complain that there's technically not a water fountain spigget; however, I do make a suggestion every year to replace one of the ten "press your cup against it" type dispensers to a waterfountain spigget ... more convenient and less water wastage / pooling for those of us who don't carry around a container and is probably a 12 dollar piece of hardware.

Lol Ro

never do business with the scalper fom unless hes below face and in pain. how was telluride eric?

I wasn't looking to do business with the scalper, I "cut" in front of the scalper in order to try to buy the ticket from the seller (who was random with an extra) ... the scalper got all hissy with me for calling him out to the seller as a scalper and trying to direct the seller's attention to me instead.

Only really saw Fruition ... who were great, have never seen them before.  Going back for the house band which is tonight instead of Sunday.  Are you going to Wrigley Scott?

i saw them in chicago i think they opened for greensky grass earlier this year. good band

im in for wrigley fo sure

Tell said scalper to fuck off.

Yeah, they are a good band ... really hit the spot a few times.  House band was also good last night, but I have my limits re: more traditional.

Have a great time at Wrigley!

Stood my ground, but I guess it wouldn't be my style to tell him to fuck off (as much as I wanted too) ... although very tempted to confront him again today.
