My buddies band "The Elm Street Blues Band" played Santo & Johnny's "Sleep Walk" last night @ The Harpersfield Winery at it was so awesome!
You could hear a little gasp from the small crowd when the tune first started & it was sinking in what was about to happen. It was so great, really beyond words! My friend Eric McFadden who is in the band, usually plays bass and his brother Dan usually plays lead guitar. Dan couldn't make show so Eric played lead & he brought an A+++ performance! He even mentioned after that it possibly was the first time in his 20+ years of playing bar shows that he felt like everyone was listening attentively. You could hear a pin drop in between songs once the clapping stopped. I was so happy to be able to be there with my lovely wife Nancy & our great friend Katrina! They also did awesome versions of Statesboro Blues, It Hurts Me Too & The Sky Is Crying in there 3 set show! The wine & food were awesome too! Eric's brother Chris played a rythym guitar as a bass all night because they didn't bring a bass. Eric, Chris & Dan McFadden are all fantastic musicians as is their drummer Hank!
