Thread cross-posted in Ticket Folder.
My sister Margaret has 2 tickets she's not able to use to Bruce at the Chase at Face value, Section 109, Row 17, seats 9, 10
Face is $975 for the 2 tickets, transferable on TM
Let her know if you're interested at [email protected] by noon Monday, 9/13. Include your Zone handle, please, so she knows you're a Zoner.

Ouch.
Ouch.
That show is massively sold out, not even many gouged resale tix available. Her best bet would be to immediately list her tix on the TM site for face.
At face, even at this late date they'll have a chance to sell, especially because scalpers get instant notifications when tix show up on the system and for a show that's sold out like this one there's a decent chance they'll scoop them up and put them right back up for double+.
Even then she won't get back everything, because if she posts them at $975 they'll show up on the system at over $1,000 and she'll get around $950, because of course there are added fees... THAT'S the type of snakey shit TM actually does, but it's easy to do and is her best chance to get some/most of her money back.
She could gamble and post them higher than face, but with the show happening tomorrow that makes it more of a gamble.
Good luck.

I passed along your thoughts, Lance, for which she was grateful. She listed the tickets on TM and they "flew off the shelf". Crazy amazing amount of money to me..

The only time I saw Bruce was where the Giants play (maybe it was Pac Bell then?). It seemed intimate probably because we rode the ferry from Marin directly to the stadium and back after the show. I have no idea what the tickets cost - it was a fun evening out. Good show!
I couldn't see the Stones at Altamont, the only time I was where they were.
Babs who, Turtle? Barbara Streisand?

It would be funny if Bruce covered the Electric Prunes "I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night)", after Trump called him a dried up prune.

What an absolutely concert
What an absolutely concert last night. Rock and Roll meets Revival meeting with the energy level and volume cranked to 11. Absolutely stunning, I've seen Bruce many times but my God he was on fire last night. 18 people on stage, four, sometimes five guitars and nobody stepped on anyone. Fucking To Morello really upped the energy level beyond it's usual outrageous level.
Hopes and Dreams..........thanks for taking a stand Bruce!

All reports are that it was a
All reports are that it was a ripping show, but then I can't remember ever hearing a negative review of just about any Bruce show.
Personally, I've seen him many times, with the E-Street Band, with his own band on non E-Street tours and as a solo acoustic act. Most of those I was working (but still in the room) and a few as a patron, starting in '84 when he was totally taking over the world with his Born in the USA album.
While fully acknowledging his greatness as a performer and songwriter and his impact and longevity in the music world, I can't say I'm a huge fan. The sheer energy & power coming off the stage, even when it's only him onstage, is amazing and legendary, but overall it's just not my cup of tea.
Still, I think it's great, and rather remarkable, to see him healthy and out there at 76, still delivering a valid, quality version of his trademark performances, still giving his fans their money's worth.
It's a shame the tix are so expensive, but given the massive popularity of his current tour (thanks in part to the Orange One?) even if he charged less the scalpers would inhale everything and gouge the fans anyway.
After Judit posted that her sister's tix had sold quickly I looked at the TM site and saw two in Section 109, Row 17, seats 7 & 8 available for just under $800 apiece that weren't there the night before; I figured those were the seats but she got the seat numbers wrong.
Scalpers doing what they do. It's a shame, but at least Judit's sister got most of her money back.
She can now use that money to go on a cruise, or have dinner at the French Laundry.
Ooof!
