As much as I might share your underlying sentiments about Rush, I realized I just couldn't wish torture upon another.  Having said that, I wouldn't shed a tear if he weren't around doing his drive by on his low information voters.

But did see a slim sliver of humanity in him when he made a guest appearance as himself in an episode of "Family Guy" years ago.   In the episode, the dog character Brian becomes a true believer of Rush after reading one of his books.  Towards the end of the episode, Rush explains to Brian that he is first and foremost an entertainer and suggests he really does not believe much of what he says and that Brian should think for himself.  

Still a terrible person who has no shame. 

He's a pedarist to boot.
