Roy Clark was a major influence to our musical generation.
Both Glen Campbell & Roy showcased an intense musicianship fed down the stream from Bluegrass and the harmonious textures voiced out the best Country music the Grand Ole Opera House, national country radio, and the studios in Nashville and Alabama were home to.
Roy was a good a banjo player as he was guitarist.
He had a great sense of humor and I take it; when that man walked in the room, it lit up like a XMAS tree.
RIP Roy
I miss the days of my youth and this does not help at all..
