Roll away...

Forums:

How did they decide if they're going to sing "the dew" or "with you?" Everyone seems to be on the same page with whichever one they go with. Was there a point in time where it changed from dew to you? I know how to read. I know what the lyrics are written as but this drives me fucking crazy. Serious answers only. This is very serious to me.

I do not ever recall hearing/seeing "with you" but please post an example or two that can be referenced and debated.

....I am more intrigued on how they seemed to be on the same page in toggling between the "truckin" and "trippin" lyrics!

Trippin, got my dick kicked in

I'm a fan of: ever since she went and got a sex change.

7/4/84 Des Moines Register article on the show mentions a song called "Roll Away With You" played that night.  Saw it when I went to Alpine the next day.

I hear the dew on the 7/4/84 franklins.

Shake it shake it, Sugar-free.

I'll post one next time I hear it. IveI brought it up before and nobody responded. I heard it right before making the thread and listened back to what I thought was the ladl Franklin's I heard but it wasn't it. I hear with you more often than the dew. Oh well. Happy Hump Day!
