Awesome

Larry Klein on bass who ever he is is excellent. Adds so much to the music!

The Rainbow!  Fun spot back then, not sure now.

I caught that one ☝️

Ya think?

You probably have 10 or 20 recordings he played on or produced.

Multiple Grammy noms/wins.

Mr. J. Mitchell for a spell.

I googled him bluenose before your response and his pic from 78 in Wiki doesn't look like him in 79.

But whatever dude I don;t know or have such knowledge of musicians I never heard of like you.

Can you forgive me?laugh

But I'm sure you looked on Wiki to get that info!

I tried to figure this out a while back and I am just not certain it's the same Larry Klein that was married to Joni, although he's a bass player (too).  Does anybody here know for sure?

I knew of him from his professional association with Joni, and found out they had been married after they divorced.

Then saw his name on a bunch of releases.  Kind of like Dave Cobb in recent years.

Wiki (just now) did clue me in that he's younger than I thought.

I haven't heard the Hunter show, and just assumed it was the same guy.  Might just be a dude Hunter knew in Seattle who played bass.

Now I just have more questions.  Was this a tour? How often Hunter play with others (I only saw him solo or w/JGB).

He was in the Dinosaurs which I saw a few times. A band called Comfort. I'm sure others.

Yikes

This band is worse than moonalice with Ann. Really

Oof.  That was rough.

Cool he got the girls from the road tour of The Magic Garden, tho'.

Bluesnote, Hunter toured with Larry Klein throughout '78-'79.  That doesn't shed much light on the question, but he wasn't just some dude from Seattle...
