Suicide?

I’ve literally never heard of a black man hanging his own self from a tree until last week.

Of course suicide is the first thing out of the police’s mouth. What else are they going to say?

Without detailing how these men actually got up into these trees, before jumping down tied to a rope; calling it suicide is irresponsible and intellectually dishonest. At best.

They were both found in the high desert of northern LA county too (Palmdale and Victorville), which makes me think their deaths by hanging are a helluva coincidence at best.

Why does it feel like coincidences take a lot of planning?

there's a lotta honkies in the socal desert.

In 2014, according to the American Association of Suicidology, "2,421 African Americans died by suicide in the U.S. ... The overall suicide rate per 100,000 was 5.46."   Hangings accounted for 26% of suicides in 2010, up from 19% at the start of the decade, according to a Johns Hopkins study published just last fall.  Given those numbers there is no doubt that some black men will be among those who hang themselves.

"Of course suicide is the first thing out of the police’s mouth. What else are they going to say?"

And you're any better by assuming this is a lynching?  What else are you going to say?  They said that because there is no evidence of foul play in either of these cases.  But that doesn't stop you from indicting the police with no evidence whatsoever.

Robert Fuller's family described him as suffering from mental illness in the flyers they distributed while looking for him.  And Malcolm Harsch was living in a homeless encampment.  Is that really the first place someone who wants to lynch a black person is going to go looking for a victim?

I'd like to say that it's amazing how you folks immediately assume the worst possible explanation for these events, but unfortunately there's nothing amazing about it.  Par for the course.

Blah blah blah leftist. Blah blah blah you people.

It's really good to see you triggered yet again, Thom.

Hey thom

Go eat a dick, okay?

A big black one

Doubling down on a homophobic post with a racist one. Way to go, Bss.

Touché mike

Fully admit when he posts I can barely even see straight enough to formulate intelligent responses anymore.

Don't become what you despise is one of the hardest lessons I've had to learn, Mice Elf. Your response here shows that you have character. Don't let the bastards wear you down.

A big black one>>>

Senator Joe Biden of Delaware was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee in October of 1991, and he questioned Anita Hill about her encounters with Clarence Thomas.

BIDEN: What was the content of what he said?

HILL: Well, this was a reference to an individual who had a very large penis. And he used the name that he had been referred to in the pornographic material.

BIDEN: Do you recall what it was?

HILL: Yes, I do. The name that was referred to was Long Dong Silver.
