Anyone actually ride one of those things?

Good riddance.

Steve Wozniak made my life miserable for a few years because of those damn things.

He's a strange dude.

ive always wanted to ride one, seems like it would be a fun sensation to accelerate and steer via leaning

Miss steve  different but brilliant and cool   Besides he  went to the high school you worked  at

his pals

and their rides

Mountain winery and shoreline.  God bless the US festival too

buckle up old man   Comes with the territory   How is Danny Sher?

Yeah, he's cool enough, but he's a strange dude.

If he were a Mustang now he'd likely have been in my class.

They have tests & names for lots more things nowadays.

Still, he did pretty well for himself.

As for Segways, I believe there were many serious accidents with those funky things.

I doubt anybody except maybe shareholders will shed a tear over their demise.

didn't  the guy who invented it die riding one? lol

Zillionairs house had 5 of em when they first came out (99?)

We got baked and raced them around his massive yard when he was away

crashed em too

Security rolled up on us and we were fucked....NO he was a stonner that one of the guys knew and he jumped on the fifth one

>>>How is Danny Sher<<<

He's releasing a live Thelonious Monk recording from a show he put on at his high school (and yours) in 1968. Maybe you were there?

He's had the tape for over 50 years. He must need the money. Or more likely he just wants more.

They was a thread on here bout that

GO VIKINGS!!!

Segways were never any good for surfers and skaters because we ride with one foot forward.

I had an afternoon on the off road version one time. I was amazed at how quickly it was able to figure out my balance. They have a setting on them where you can limit the speed. The guy we went with turned that off so we could enjoy full speed if we wanted. It was not too fast but I could see how you could easily get hurt. We cruised along the coast in some nature park on Amelia Island. It was fun. They are pretty good on the sandy trails with the oversized tires.  I saw an armadillo up close that day. They are odd looking.

TOD has one

I have ridden them a few times, never on public roads or sidewalks but around outdoors on large lawns, woods trails, etc. got to admit, they are a lot of fun. You can master it quickly,  However, I do not recommend drinking a lot and trying to do tricks because it can toss you in the dirt quickly.
