I've never posted an RIP thread before, but I dug Keely Smith. My Dad used to play her albums when I was young and I remember she was one of the first jazz artists to cover the Beatles. As a young student of music, her Beatles album helped me to understand that music should be pliable. Great voice and always had great musicians around her. Thanks, Keely!

Thanks, Bill. I get what you're saying about this album helped you understand that music should be pliable - it's unlike any I've heard and somewhat odd to me. Her voice, even though incredibly smooth, isn't slick. I'm glad you posted.
