RIP Elliot Roberts

Forums:

I would imagine many if not most here don't know who this man was, but he WAS, and he was seriously involved in what many here love.

Beyond all that will be mentioned, anyone wo loved the Bridge Benefit concerts loved this man, because HE was the one who made them happen.

“I couldn’t write all those great fuckin’ albums for Neil, or have the pain that he has so he could get those emotions out. I can protect him, I can showcase him, I can make sure when it’s special, everyone knows.”

He was a good man, he could be a nice man, in a not-very-nice business.

On it goes.

He was indeed. I read that article earlier tonight and it took me back to the '60s and Laurel Canyon days. His name is on every album cover from the early days of the music we listen to.

If you were paying attention to music in the '70's you knew who Elliot was.

RIP
