One of The Paisley Underground's leading lights, gone way too early at age 61. I dug all three of his bands. He will be missed.

Those early albums by Mazzy
Those early albums by Mazzy Star were listened to over and over. Some of the most dreamy floating music and singing I've ever heard. Elliott Roberts helped David move his career along when he recognized this sound being created by David. Really simple basic songs that are arranged perfectly in a landscape where less is more. David was a creative force. RIP.
