The Funk world also received the double-whammy news this weekend that Walter "Junie" Morrison passed away on January 21st in London at the age of 62. He was a member of the Ohio Players in the early 70's, then joined Parliament/Funkadelic in the mid-70's, playing keyboards and adding vocals, eventually replacing Bernie Worrell as their musical director.
