Forums:

Another childhood memory goes by the wayside, although truth be told I was never into Bozo.

I was always scared of clowns - Bozo was the worst.

Likewise, how many different "Burger Kings" were there?

I always wanted to try that ping pong game.

He outlived Chuckles.  ((((Crushed by an elephant while dressed as a peanut)))))

RIP Bozo.

Total Clown Show

loved bozo, Romper Room, and Captain Kangaroo

I liked Mr.Green Genes.

"I was always scared of clowns - Bozo was the worst."

I can relate to this, and I took my daughter to the circus once and the clowns really freaked her out.

I dated a girl whose grandfather played Bozo, maybe in Illinois...?

This thread title can be recycled whenever 45 passes on.

he ain't dead -- he's in the White House

He'll get a 21 honk salute.

From that Seinfeld photo:

George talking to Eric, the Clown

GEORGE: Bozo?

ERIC: No.

GEORGE: B-O-Z-O?

ERIC: Sorry, I...

GEORGE: You've never heard of Bozo the Clown?

ERIC: No!

GEORGE: How could you not know who Bozo the Clown is?

ERIC: I don't know, I just don't.

GEORGE: How can you call yourself a clown and not know who Bozo is?

ERIC: Hey, man - what are you hassling me for? This is just a gig, it's not my life. I don't know who Bozo is, what - is he a clown?

GEORGE: Is he a clown? What, are you kidding me!?

ERIC: Well, what is he?

GEORGE: Yes, he's a clown!

ERIC: Alright, so what's the big deal! There's millions of clowns!

GEORGE: Alright, just forget it.

ERIC: Me forget it? You should forget it! You're livin' in the past, man! You're hung up on some clown from the sixties, man!

Speaking of President Bozo, I just heard from Ralph Malph and Potsie that he and Joe Biden are going to fight after school today behind Arnold's.  Can't wait.

A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants.

(Not from Bozo, but I just love that line)

^^^That was Chuckle the Clown's line^^^^

One time at MSG (actual Circus,  not GD shoe) clowns were walking through the aisles.

Mom told me,  "Trip the Clown !! It's part of the Fun..."

So I did,  put my 5-6 year-old foot out in the aisle,  and tripped the Clown.

Clown went down pretty hard.  I felt a little bad,  but got over it.

Lol

Hahahaha

>>although truth be told I was never into Bozo.

Sure Thom, whatever you say.

Bozo on wdca 20 was the same guy that was Captain 20 and Count Gore Vidal. Huge talent.

Hmm does anyone know where CAT was the night Bozo died of "natural" causes?

My dad passed last night after 90 years, almost made it 91...  now i've got something to tie it to...   RIP

((Vibes for Noodler's dad))

So sorry for your loss, Noodler.  Sincere condolences.

Thanks everybody, didn't want to start a thread for it, but there's something about throwing it out there here that just makes sense,  the old, "once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right".

He had a good life, went to the hospital and passed 36 hours later...    a much better way to go than the alternatives.  Glad I got to talk to him before the delirium took over...

We're all Bozos on this bus...

Hmm does anyone know where CAT was the night Bozo died of "natural" causes?

Ha ha! Very good question, Dise.

Glad you got to talk with your dad before it wouldn't make sense, Noodler. Peace and love to you.

>>Bozo was the worst.

really?  the bucket challenge was frightening!

Tide pods...shut up chut up I sawBozo today

My condolences Noodler.

The ice bucket challenge actually raised enough money that they made a significant research breakthrough because of the money raised through the ice bucket challenge.  Nothin scary about that.

My sincerest condolences Noodler. Lost my dad in July. He was 3 weeks shy of his 88th birthday. I think about him every single day.

RIP Bozo. Some of my earliest memories as a kid is watching him, Mr. green jeans and Sonny Fox of Wonderama.

So sorry for your loss, Noodler
