I have been to a lot of social justice protests but don't recall seeing a Black Lives Matter flag that incorporates the US flag.

I distinctly recall being
I distinctly recall being back in Chicago when the Cubs won the pendant in 2016 and had a big sit-down dinner with my immediate family in which this stuff was brewing and we discussed it. I think the black lives matter started it with their flag and the cops nearly immediately came out with theirs. We all seemed to see it the same way, regardless of our respective personal perspectives, in that it was basically picking sides by displaying/supporting one or the other. I am not picking sides here and despise both as I have said. It sucks that the black lives matter movement was apparently highjacked or at least seen that way (to me anyhow) when many of the street protests turned violent and criminal by some lame opportunists. By the way, when someone says, "well, I back the blue" it usually means "I am at least racist-light and I don't give a rat's ass about the long-standing struggles of black people in this country." It is not - or at least should not be - open season on blacks or cops.....but maybe I am too idealistic.

That was just the beginning. Now we have people like the bitch in the Huntington Beach clip literally screaming in the streets (and worse).
I am not sure that the United States of America still are, or can be again. Maybe we need to split the place up. Of course, the dear lady above might need to move to Alabama.
