Is this really Morning Dew?

Forums:

Can any "guitar person" tell by Jerry's hands if this is really Morning Dew?  Sometimes it seems synched, other times not (I realize it was filmed with a non-commercial movie camera).

The ending is great! Quite energized.

I believe it is.  A little hard to tell by trying to catch the actual chord positions and the early portions are definitely not well synched.  But the last lead with the big build up, especially Phil's ending slams, certainly seems to be the real deal.

I love Jerry's facial moves on this one...

which was included in the documentary

it's bits and pieces of film clips edited either, in-camera (just turning it on & off) or after developing. you can see where people are out of position between before and after some cuts.

i'm sure some of it is actually morning dew, because they played it that day.

I guess it doesn't matter anyway...

Has anyone ever noticed that the chords for Dew are almost identical to those for IKYR?

Try it and see!

Ok Surfdead,

you made me think of the great Neil Young chords and lyric page on HyperRust.

ITS ALL ONE SONG!

Different keys. Rider is in E and Dew is in D.

Nope, Chords for both are D, C, G, F, and Em.

Well, I play Rider in E and Dew in D.
