The Real Estate Formerly Known as TXR

someone should but it and make it a clubhouse or something...

Doesn't seem that anything has changed, it's still for sale.

The only thing that looks different is the bit about the other property, which is the Infinity dealership.

I've been maybe half/quarter expecting to hear that Shapiro might be sniffing around the place. I believe he was interested in the Before Times, and I know he's been looking for years into expanding into the west coast. I also know that he'll be working on opening a Garcia's Chicago soon, I could see him turn the place into Garcia's Bay Area.

The setup isn't really what he looks for, a very large restaurant and a very small performance hall, but the place overall was working really well before COVID, and he knows how to make things work.

Whatever one may think of Shappy, him taking it on would be a much better development than most anything else that might go in there.

In my opinion the lot line adjustment contingency pretty much kills the potential of this property being any further developed as an entertainment establishment.

so for five million bucks you get a decrepit old building with failing infrastructure and no parking plus the liability of developing on/neighboring a protected waterway. Pass.

The back yard is filled with squatters and some boats have been docked at the docks belonginf to the property. It looks pretty sad.....

rail riders=squatters

same as it ever was...

>>>The back yard is filled with squatters<<<

I figured the park would go right back to hell as soon as Phil/Jill pulled out.

It's too bad, as it became a really nice hang for families and it was great to head into a show with the sound of kids running around playing in the park.

But I guess squatters need someplace to squat, and that little corner is as good as any.

Sure was good while it lasted.

On it goes.

Do the squatters lay their hoodies down to reserve their space?

They lay their needles down.

It works better.

Nothing lasts.

really sad never to have made it

Someone start a gofundme.

David Lemieux Clubhouse where he plays rare shows would be a nice place to hang.

... with an "autobiography" out, is he not now in the company of Benjamin Franklin?

Someone more motivated than me should check with the city of San Rafael about renting the park for a WCZJ...
