Fantastic read.

It's described as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory meets The Matrix or a Harry Potter for adults.

Its a love letter to the 80s and a really intricate and carefully constructed sci fi thriller that makes an interesting commentary on our present and where we may be headed. I loved this book. Fastest 700 page read ever.

I'm sure many of you are familiar and the Spielberg movie comes out soon, I believe. The whole thing is loaded with 80s references as they proceed through the world's most valuable easter egg hunt.

I found some interesting passages that may or may not apply to The Zone that I thought I'd share here today.

Its really got everything.....from oklahoma trailer trash to interplanetary space travel.

If you were alive in the 80s, youd probably appreciate this.

....Zoners, even more so.  lol.

a lot of reviews seem to say its a cool, but empty movie.

I bought the book based on this thread.  You owe me $12 if it sucks.

I loved the movie.

Finally saw it.

Really entertaining movie.

Unimpressed with the real Sixers though.

They were more menacing in print.
