out of 4?

soy meat is terrible, and not healthy either.

you really need avocados w/ freshly groud black pepper, salt

cheddar, no american.

bacon

red onion

tomatoes (if decent)

salsa

As i'm sure I would have ate it by now...  though I might substitute a asiago cheese bagel just cause...

Though I'd have surely "eaten it" can you improve upon that "bagel" itself?  You're not going above average with that "bread product". Maybe a fresh bialy? Definitely tomatoes and of course they're "decent" or they wouldn't be in the house. (That "last one" was for Turtle.)

i have to agree w/ turtle, 3/10 is correct. weak attempt, you can do better. soy "meat" automatically brings it down to under 5...

"Gimme Lean" sausage?
Are you fucking kidding?

Gotta be a troll thread.

why would you take the time to post this on the internet

Looks like we're totally in different camps.   While soy "meat" is not healthy, it's probably no worse than pork.   Avo's have no business being served warm or even adjacent to other warm food.   While not as "healthy", American goes hand in hand with eggs.  Bacon = side meat, BLT's aren't even real sandwhiches IMO.  Raw onions have no business on a breakfast sandwich nor does salsa (unless it's Mexican) - with the corollary being that it needs to be ketchup (and not tomato)

Not a fan of soy meat, which is really unhealthy for men, but everything else on the sandwich is just fine.

Turtle's Sammy sounds great too, but it's a totally different thing. One is a burger and the other is an aged Porterhouse. I love them both.

The sandwich in the original post sounds a lot like what I make on a regular basis, except I use eggs from my front yard chickens and soy cheese (unless I happen to have on hand some cheese from friends with goats).

>>>While soy "meat" is not healthy, it's probably no worse than pork.

True.  And CAFO raised meat is really nasty and bad for the environment.

Three sounds about right.  American cheese is not real cheese.  It's processed and fairly nasty.  Ketchup is also pretty gross.  Just processed sugar.

Now I agree that avocado is not intended to served warm but it absolutely can be introduced to other warm food.  Ever heard of a taco?

>nor does salsa (unless it's Mexican)<

what?

well its not german salsa....

avos are essential. you don't cook them.

Saying that avocado is essential on a breakfast Sammy is like saying that Dill havarti is essential on a Philly cheesesteak.

Next time I'm in New Jersey, and I order a breakfast sandwich, I'm going to yell at them because they are missing the essential ingredient, avocado. I'm sure that I'll get a Taylor pork roll upside the head, with a lesson on what's really essential.

eat your schwaggy sammy then bk...

kethup on both, correct?

turkey/cheddar/garlic aioli/arugula/tomato/pickled jalapeño & sweet pepper/red onion/salt pepper/olive oil/baguette

Beautiful, pyramidheat. When do we eat?

That looks good for lunch at the beach with a bag of chips and a sparkling limeade.

The everything only tops the bagel, and doesn't run all through it.

I don't care for breakfast sandwiches. I prefer the individual components eaten off a plate.  Artificial anything sucks, especially when it's not surrounded by goo that disguises it.

I like tofu as tofu, not as fake meat

I never said I put ketchup on a Porterhouse, but I sure as hell don't get food snobby on people who do. I reserve that solely for people who put mayo, cheese and veggies on pastrami. Other than that, it's all good, even ketchup on hot dogs.
