We are in very competent hands as he is an Audio Genius! We did a bunch of audio groundwork

^^^ Hey Mark!

I sent you a text not too long ago, and didn't hear back (yet). Did my text remind you that the stream was happening?

Second set looks nice, will checkout the show reel,

Thanks Budboy!

Listening now, thanks for the tip!

Bob should play with the DNB for a fund raising benefit for Nelson at Sweetwater.

Hi Folks, we are getting ready for Night 2 of our
Radio DNB fundraiser broadcast to support
the "Deadicated Maniacs For David" fund.
I want to thank everyone who donated last night,
as we raised $3000 dollars for David!!!!!!
_____________________________________________

I want to throw out some broadcasting stats from last night.
We had 565 unique listeners and had a consistant
286 listeners at any given time. Both are RADIO DNB records!
That said, the $3000 in donations came from around 45 to 50
generous listeners. I think we can do better tonight.
I want to ask that anyone that is listening tonight,
that has not already donated to please open up your heart
and your wallet for David & donate.
Thanks, Enjoy the Broadcast !!!!

Just sent mine. Had to redo my pp...

When does the fun start tonight?

last night was around 11:30 PST

It was also pretty iffy when Bobby was involved.  I had high hopes but should have known Bobby doesn't have it in him still.

I'm listening to the 2nd set from last night, liking it a lot more than the 1st, so far. I'm at dark star, sounds pretty cool. more DNB jamming, less booby boobling.

Just donated!  Hope you all will too.  Get well David, we miss you!

love from Chris & Shaliea

Donation in, rested up, and ready for some late night music.........

Get well David!

Band on stage

Sweet!

don't get TOO used to this up-tempo music, folks

cheeky

Hey folks!  Can't believe I didn't stay the last night.  My crew was all scattered 4 days ago.  Of course it all fell in place after I decided to not go Saturday.  Thankful for the stream!

Glad you made it!

My buddy was only gonna go Thursday.  He ended up extending it to Friday.  We drove home , 3 hours one way, he dropped me off and went back!!!

Hey Gary and Ro........up past my bedtime but well worth it!

Awesome...If I had a ticket, so would I

Did all the loud drunks and talkers quiet down last night? seemed like it

^^^ hey Rob!

Hey Tim! ... can't believe you aren't at the show tonight smiley

Katie is killing this Had to Cry Today  crying

Awesome...If I had a ticket, so would I

Did all the loud drunks and talkers quiet down last night? seemed like it

Hey Rob...Night 2 up all night listening to music!

Hope we raise some $$$

Yeah, it was a little quieter, but still plenty of drunks.  I hate show talkers....  They were talking over Katie Skene singing Can't Find My Way.  She was killing it.  It was embarassing.

>>>Hey Tim! ... can't believe you aren't at the show tonight

It's a long story.  I'm glad I caught the first 2.  I traded my Saturday for 3 Thursdays and hooked up a bunch of folks.

Hey Now Ya'll,. Top O' the evening to ya!

Its the fun crewkiss

Good evening and good night - I'll listen soon. Love to all.

Hey, Bobby must have seen Garyfish's list of tunes!!!

Going down!

My cat Owsley jjust umped up on the table to listen to Bobby Acoustic!

Kinda surprised to hear Loose Lucy again

Now I'm cursing.....  Of course now we'll get the LLR and a Mama Tried with Sless on pedal steel. Sigh....

Hey, all.  I'm going the first night's show reel here.

The live streams haven't been too successful (long buffer period>fun tunage>stream loss>refresh>repeat).

I'll get to the rest of this run and that Friday Phil show when I get back to work.

On the clock and with the good headphoneswink

Another repeat from night 1.  I wondered why they sound checked it yesterday.

3 of the last 4 songs have been repeats from night 1

Lucy, Gonesville, Lily

Tofu wants a refund!!!!

The Lily was pretty good with practice.

The Lily from the first night was one of my highlights.  It was a down and dirty jam.

Tim, if you get in the car now, you can make it to DNB At TXR by Tuesday/Wednesday!!

if DNLB actually does play on Tues.-Wed. -- and if one or both nights are on Radio DNB -- I might just do couch tour at home

just sayin'

I heard no shows at TXR after Alaska but you never know. I think they would have announced by now.

Hey Gary I just donated for the second time..........

here's what BB posted on Mixlr.com chat just before setbreak... take it for what it's worth:

"DNB might be playing TXR next Tuesday & Wednesday.....You heard it here!"

FUCK!!!!   I am going to really hate missing both those shows but there is no way.

I just walked down the hill and back up. I am really out of shape going up hill.   But Im glad the boys waited for me to get back.

Sounds Crazy Huh?

Good stuff!

looks like Weir and/or Sless have been looking at my song lists that I posted above a little more than 24 hours ago

... as if wink

TLEO

This sounds FANTASTIC!

Sorry Bobby but you are not Jerry.  Let someone else sing this song. Please.   It really needs way more soul than you got.

winkI'm starting to fade...

gonna let Bobby and Sless lull me off to sleep

wait

And Dan, Thanks heaps for facilitating this stream. It sounds wonderful here in Clearlake Riviera.

Great show.

barry literally shredded the shit out of that sugar mag

I starting watching The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus from 1968 on TV during set break, and I've been on a serious fool Rolling Stones binge on youtube since it ended, so I've been off this stream.

Being a fool for The Rolling Stones is always the right thing to do.

estiban.jpg

no bueno

nothing on txr calendar yet

if it was happening, I thought they would probably make an announcement from the stage at the end of tonight's show

Does Quinfolk have the captcha?

Listened to one set some nice moments despite Weir's coma-like tempos.

Had to Cry Today my fav.

Donated because trumpcare won't cover hippie pickers.

I really didn't care for the format of these gigs.  I wish they didn't do the Bob solo stuff.  The band would have crushed songs like Loose Lucy.  Molo would have made that shit sassy.  And I don't really care for Bobs new album that much.  Some poor (imo) song selections and wasted opportunities.

The Wheel > Bird Song > Standing on the Moon > Sugar Magnolia segment is great.

I was calling Sless the Blue Collar Face Melter.  Doesn't matter if the show is empty or sold out.  That guy will destroy the room!

>>I'm starting to fade...

gonna let Bobby and Sless lull me off to sleep<<

yep

Not sure when i faded but woke up this morning with my phone still by my head on the pillow.

i'll do a rewind to see what i missed.

Happy Sunday y'all

From what I've heard it sounds damn good to me...You folks dissing Bobby should know he didn't have to fill in for David. Kudos to Weir for stepping up....

Good Morning Folks! Thanks Again to all who donated to the "Deadicated Maniacs For David" fund. We raised $4600 over the last 3 days!
Also, someone up in Alaska gave Capt Toast a $1000 dollar cash donation on Saturday. That makes $5600 so far!

Great!  heart Any word on any other benefit shows?  Moonalice is doing a SoCal tour starting 3/30 - any plans to solicit donations there?

What about the Big Sur festival? Is it still on?

Thx Budboy!

Good questions Zooey.

Pretty dreamy Bird Song & SOTM.

Get well soon David

Bobbys ego apparently hasn't changed. He must be delusional to think he could  take over a band like DNB and turn it into another virtual GD cover band. At least the leftover salmon guy had the respect to take the time to know some of the DNB catologue.

Signed someone who is severely burned out with hearing another china- rider.

SO burned out you keep posting on a GD related fansite? Talk about delusional...

Thanks for Sounddawg for the killer sound and

Budboy and Budgirl for all they do!

Glad money was raised

Keep the good vibes coming for Nelson!

totally agree. the format seemed like it kinda killed any momentum built up-bobby solo? wtf is that about. anyway, the dark star was good, coulda played that for 30 minutes w/ that band, oh well. wasted opportunities for sure.

lazy lightning>supplication would have been bad asssssss w/ sless and molo.
