“Everything that I’ve heard of Q, I hope that this is real because it only means that America is getting stronger and better, and people are returning to conservative values,” she told interviewer Ann Vandersteel. QAnon followers believe that Trump is fighting enemies in the “deep state” and a child sex trafficking ring run by satanic pedophiles and cannibals.

If Republicans want to take control of the U.S. House in November, they need to avoid unforced errors. You know, like throwing out a five-term incumbent endorsed by Donald Trump and nominating an extremist who instantly makes a safe seat marginal. That’s what Republican primary voters in Western Colorado’s rural Third Congressional District did yesterday in forcing the retirement of Scott Tipton in favor of Lauren Boebert, a QAnon-curious gun enthusiast who regarded the incumbent as insufficiently Trumpy, despite the fact that he was endorsed by the president.

She is the owner of Shooters Grill, in Rifle, Colorado.   The pistol packing lady obviously appeals to some.

I worked hard and lost trying to keep that district Democratic back in the early 90's. Would be nice to see it flip back again. Rifle is a pretty cool place. Some of the people who service the billionaires in Aspen live there because they can't afford to live closer.

She was one of the first restaurateurs in CO to defy the statewide dine-in ban. Got smacked by the state but got a variance (I think). That got her the attention...plus the gun fever.

The canna store(s) in Rifle get heavy traffic from Utah.

The suspect she is giving the Democrats the seat. Thank you!

I'd guess to say that 45% of all Americans are fucking idiots.

Yepper. I know some folks in that part of CO may support her but she just may be too extreme for a majority win and lose the general in Nov. Steamboat Springs comes to mind as a population center that may reject her and her views.

Closer to 75%.

Hard to believe the gas/oil/ranching good ole boy candidate lost
