Nice cover one of my favorite current punk bands did for Democracy Now. These guy put on one of the most energetic shows out there these days and are serious activists for a number of causes. The bassist, Chris #2/Chris Dos flies better than Eddie Vedder. :-)

If Cool Hand Luke is the sweatiest movie of all time, their bass player may be the sweatiest guy in the music business...
I had never seen them live, but my 13 year old wanted to catch Rise Against this summer so I took him. Anti-Flag was the opener and were spectacular. Pure, unadulterated punk rock that came off as genuine and spontaneous.
Headliner didn't stand a chance after them.
Thanks for the link. You made my day, and I suspect when I pass it to my son, it'll make his day as well.

You're welcome, Fretboard.
You're welcome, Fretboard. You nailed it, Anti-Flag is the real deal and throw down every time they are on stage. Since your son is a big fan, I'll pass along a photo I took of Chris #2 last year that I really like.

I attended this show this summer as well, the one at Coney Island if I am not mistaken. Went with a friend of mine who is apparently a huge Rise Against fan. I couldnt wait for the night to be over. I am sure all involved are tremendous musicians, but the music itself is not my cup of tea. No melodies at all, loud, distortion and screaming and yelling. A lot of "F the Man" "F the system," and BTW don't forget to pick up a t-shirt and poster at the merch table on your way out.
