This make be a rule breaker but in the Spirit of a smoking deal:

The BEST flip flops. Could hike a 14er in them.

I think it's fine. It's for the good of the community

i've owned a pair of those before and I admit I'd drive up to the top of Pikes Peak in them.

I did hike Mt. Marcy and Algonquin Peak in NY while wearing some birks (Milanos) back in college for reasons I'd rather not get into. It was mud season and pretty miserable.

they go well with your cargo shorts ned

really, Ned?

not a good design at all if you're serious.

I could see Ned sporting those with a cooler of Corona and a paddle board in tow ;)

getting flip-flop advice from a colordradian is like getting mtn climbing advice from someone from kansas....

what do they mean by Mush?

dispose of after one use...

The mush is a cushion soft top. It's like walking on little bunnies without the guilt!

I've never found a comfortable pair of flip flops...toe thongs are bothersome.

in that case, hope you enjoy!

These are comfortable .... no toe curling needed.

the mush gets sweaty then makes squeaking noises when you walk.

Toe curling isn't the problem, the thong between my toes is the issue.

I don’t mind flip flops for a quick fix for something to put on, but not to walk in or wear for very long. I do need a new pair and may grab some these.

Yeah, no thanks.  Need leather.  That foam top stuff is bs.

leather doesn't do well when you get them wet tho...

my beach pairs are reefs or rainbows.

Rainbows are my go to

about a half-dozen years ago I owned a pair of the "original" Teva Mush flipflops that I bought for about $10 from Sierra Trading Post... I admit, they were very comfortable, but not durable, as they only lasted one summer

also, back then the sole was not at all stiff and you could feel every little pebble and protrusion you walked over... I once had a thorn come all the way through and that was no fun... so they were basically flatland footwear

and, if the flipflops got the least bit wet, the bottoms of your feet would slip all over the now-lubricated Mush footpad, making ordinary walking an unpleasant adventure

hopefully this newer "Mush II" has some design improvements that address the earlier shortcomings

I have toe nail fungus.

This thread is not going well for Ned B

yeah, at this point let's see what Sideshow Bob recommends.

terrible

fish knows flops.

so does big bill.

I don’t love flip flops, but I won’t hold the thread against you, Ned. It was a fine PSA.

I moved to Olu Kai slip on’s for summer, and highly recommend them.

Fantastic

I go with the rubber Birkenstocks... Arizona

I have leather Birkenstocks for more formal occasions.

Since I was a young boy I have been negative on the toe thong as well

Absolutely, what does Sideshow say?

How you like me now?

Greetings from the D.R.

oh look at that crazy nedb!

I need some arch support in my flops. I like olukais but the strap, despite being leather, stretched out pretty quick and now are more flop than flip.  A little expensive given that criticism but still them best I have found.

Just a simple little siesta, Turts.

Wish you were here!

Nice, Nedb.

Have fun!

Hitting the small ball tomorrow. (Teeth of the Dog - Pat Dye)

No, Turtle, not extreme; will be slamming cold beers and driving a cart.

golf is for custies.

wear a hat ned.

Thanks for the heads up, Ned!

I could use another pair of flip flops.  I now need a pair next to the back door as well as the front.

Haven't had a chance to read the banter, but one thing that I don't recommend is using Tevas for boot skiing in the snow.  Poor ankle support and you get snow/ice packed between your foot and the sole of the sandal.

>>How you like me now?

they're probably perfect with the speedo.

Looks and sounds great, Ned. Have a great time.

Maybe beaching it a bit will get ya ready for your river trip. Yee-hah!

Indeed, Slick.

My book for this trip is Kuhne's "River Master" about John Wesley Powell's first expeditions down the Green and Colorado Rivers. 14 weeks until our trip down the Green River through Canyonlands....can't wait!

These pants are a hot buy.  Love them.  Wish they had another color besides green for non fat people.

^Grey or nothing!

I got th me green ones.  They’re fantastic.  No belt loops, it has a draw string inside the waistline eliminating the need for a belt.  Super comfy and durable.
