Portland Oregon best dispensaries

Forums:

Thinking of getting away for a week after my brothers funeral and can get a RT ticket from Newark to PDX for $200 on Frontier. Looking to buy some cheap shit and bring it back with me. I see you can get oz's for $100 or less. Would maybe try to bring back multiple oz's. Any recs of good cheap dispensaries?.

Considering Seattle too where I was born but I think the city is too large. Prefer a smaller laid back place.

We've got a bunch in Corvallis,  and my faves have varied, depending on prices, quality, consistency....   but currently it's Marie Janes, they have $65 oz on Saturdays, and other daily specials.  I like their prices and consistency of product(s).  The staff is great too!

(they also deliver pizza and weed, though I think the pizza co. just changed names).

I would check around on Leafly to see who has the deals.  You can pick up a copy of the Willamette Week when you get out here and there will be tons of ads for deals on flower.

I grow so I only go to the pot shops for measured dosage edibles and the shops I go to are the ones in my immediate neighborhood.   There are so many in this town, I have no idea how they stay in business.

Portland will be easier to get around w/o a car as compared to Seattle.

As is my standing offer for any Zoner, I would offer you a sofa to sleep on if we weren't in quarantine. Our Governor just postponed phase 2 reopening for our 3 Metro counties.

But for the green stuff, one of the best deals for top-shelf strains is at a place called Uplift Botanicals in NE Portland -- On Fridays only, they sell 1/8ths of top-quality, fresh indoor for around $20-25....it would be an easy stop on the way in from the airport if you take a Lyft.

There are probably lots of other places with good deals, but the lesson I've learned from dispensaries in this town is to always check the harvest date.

The cheap advertised deals are usually 10 months old -- not good!

Also load the apps "Weed Map" and "Leafly". ...

If you have any other Portland questions -- my email is in the profile -- and I'm sure Portland Ken and Wngfan could offer their tips, too.

Portland has marvelous non-humid partly-sunny weather right now!

Don't forget your mask!

um is $65 bucks for tested shit?

All dispensaries must sell tested product.

Oregon has like a 7-year supply of harvest, that was in the news last year...

It's funny how a flight to PDX with a stop in DEN is cheaper than a flight to DEN..

until very recently, never have gone into a dispensary.

33% tax

its like 1991 prices.

is this what people pay?

prolly shouldn't have voted for the last one...but would've passed anyway...

Cannabis buyers in Berkeley are getting a tax break as the city has dropped its taxes on marijuana from 10 percent to five percent. The main reason for the drop is to fight a booming black market. Berkeley is one of the only cities in the state to make the move.

y'all laughing at people because they don't live in a legal state?

Just type in "manbun" in the discount code section

Leaving Monday for a cheap flight to Vegas with a cheap rental car. Cheapest I could find out of the whole west coast. Return on August 1st. Plan to make my way eventually to Oregon with Cali and possibly Arizona or elsewhere in the trip. No plans. Will see where the wind blows me. Any recs for good cheap dispensaries in those areas are much obliged. Have no clue what strains are the good ones in todays world. Like a strong sativa that uplifts and gives energy and creativity. Hate couch lock weed. Maybe also a good strong strain for coming down from the sativa so you can sleep at night without giving a hangover. Will sleep in the car most nights or camp.

I go to dispensaries all the time, they are pretty similar and now a days they all pretty much have multiple price tiers. My go to is this place, all levels are decent but the cheaper levels are usually b buds or last fall harvest. http://www.treesmarijuana.com/portland-dispensary-waterfront/.

you can check out menu and prices on their site. Beware of leafy etc because the bud pics are usually stock photos, although you can look at most dispo pricing. Todays Herbal Choice on Barbur has good pricing and good selection to and I think everything is like 30% off on Wednesday. Use leafy to find he daily deals, most places run specials that can save $$$$ with a few minutes of looking around. There are literally hundreds of stores in Portland, just watch out for places that don't discount when you go up in volume,, there a couple of places like that around. If you have a medical card in Oregon you can grab QPs and up at the stores and avoid taxes too. Plenty of cheap edibles too, look for the little 50 MG SDK cookies that are usually $6, that's pretty good deal and they are widely distributed

Don't forget to pack the ether

the only proper answer to this question is archive portland. it is run by archive seedbank, one of the absolute best and most respected cannabis breeders in the world - his most famous creation is dosidos. honestly id go to archive over any dispensary in CA. if you want to support a real og who is constantly contributing to cannabis, and get some of the best herb around, properly and truthfully labeled, archive is probably the spot...although if your focus is price over quality, i have no reccomendations and dont know what to tell you, just search leafly for the cheapest stuff and enjoy smoking mass produced garbage

Keep us in the loop on your travels, especially if you make it up all the way up here.  I am not really going out to brewpubs much these days with the whole Covid thing, but maybe we can crash Llollo's porch for a socially distant happy hour.

@ daylight, I don't have to have the crème de la crème to have a good time.Just give me the leftovers and I'm cool!

Who has the inside  info of the leftovers!?

All are  welcome on the porch or in the yard, masks appreciated.
