My folks got us an 8Ball pinball machine in our gameroom. Pool table and a classic pinball. Pretty cool. And one of those Japanese steel ball things on the wall.
Hook is my favorite pinball machine. I think it came out early 90s with the movie. Another newer favorite of mine is the Iron Maiden pinball machine. The pourhouse in Charleston, SC has one.
Visited Alameda Pinball Museum several times; agree with the Twilight Zone, Addams Family and other favorites mentioned here.
Also the really vintage tables are fun in their own way, and the pre-digital display 70's machines are fun.
There's one in Asbury Park (Pinball Museum) but I've yet to visit... maybe some day.
My brother in law has an old Midway circus themed pinball machine in his garage. Fun machine and gives us an excuse to head out to the garage during family get togethers to puff weed.
Many years ago, my friends somehow acquired a full size Centipede arcade game. Countless of hours of entertainment (especially when you are tripping) and we all got pretty good. But one night, during a particularly long and wicked acid binge, the game was hauled out to the back yard and ceremoniously set ablaze.
I played a LOT of pinball in the 1970s and early 1980s, during and after getting my "higher education" at Cornell University.
My all-time favorite pinball machine was called "Pin-Up" (earlier versions were called "King Pin") which was just a no-frills old-school machine on which I quickly attained expert status. It got to the point where I could play Pin-Up for hours on just one dime (or, after about 1975, a quarter) because of the Add-a-Ball feature whereby extra balls could be earned by completing "specials" or attaining scoring thresholds. Earning each extra ball was broadcast with a loud and satisfying "THWOCK!"
In 1977, when I moved from NY to NorCal, I was overjoyed to discover a local dive bar that had a version of Pin-Up which awarded free games as well as extra balls. Good times!

I would love to get a Toobin' or a Paperboy machine. Bubble Hockey too.
