Pig Name

Forums:

I am at it again.

I had such a good time for Thanksgiving and my son requested another one so I got my order in.

I have a 38 pound pig to grill for Christmas eve. Now that is a full on Cuban tradition. Driving around Miami residential neighborhoods every other house is roasting a pig. Too bad my Mother in law will be up north for the holidays but it won't stop me from cookin one.

My only dilema is I cant come up with a solid name for her.

Any surgestions.

Oh yea....First time posting on Viva........Fuckers.

I'd call her Supper. Do you name a steak you buy at the grocery?

We know some folks with a farmette and they named their pig "Bacon"

Trump.

No, that's disrespecting the pig too much.

A steak you put on a grill for a while and cook and eat, a roasted pig is a labor of love and she deserves a name.

*cough*

Hamilton was the name of the pig on my oldest's favorite show when she was little. Maggie and Ferocious Beast.  Maggie's favorite saying was 'Great Googly Moogly!'.

Thanksgiving was Jessica. As in Baby Jessica....sad to say this one didn't make it like the Baby Jessica in the 80's, but she tasted oh soooo good.

That is disturbing. Just saying.

Meridian Leeward

Six letters.

Starts with "K".

Ends with "Y".

Might ruin your appetite.

Gerald?

duh. question answered.

After picking up the sexy 37.6 pound pig I decided to call her Almando. That was the name of the cashier at Western Beef Supermarket. I even double checked the spelling with her.

Yes Almando is very cool name.

Just picked up a 7 pound pork shoulder for a Pernil to be named Rosie.

Merry X-MAS!
