Oh, if that isn't the sweetest thing! Beautiful, Dan! Thanks, Dad.

Stylin! Love the dark green color.  It'll be easy to work on, too.

Out on the edge of an empty highway
Howling at the blood on the moon
Big diesel Mack truck rolling down my way
I can't hit that border too soon

They sure don’t make em like they used to.

Nice wheels!

 Beautiful! What year?

It sure will look pretty truckin' on up Walton's Mountain.

Wow coolest thing since the space launch. Did dad pick-up yer mom in them hot wheels ?

Is that where the spare tire's supposed to go ?

Cool!  Nice looking truck.

thought this would be a d. stu thread.

MAGA

Did Budgirl pick up the corvette?

That's a classic.  Nice, Dan!

Thanks for sharing.  Beautiful!

Year is 1929. My dad did the restoration a little over 30 years ago. It is all original, not a hot rod.

Hmmm subtle nrps DNB adornment ?

take the girl for a nice picnic!

Sweeeeeet ride!!!

Old school, no need for hot rod. Slow cruise on a Saturday afternoon getting a handy from your best gal.

Just like Mom and Dad

So does that mean the engine and transmission is all original?    If so, is it hard to find spare parts?

Cool truck.

 <<Walton's Mountain

I can see that thing from my front porch.

No wonder I could picture that truck on Walton's Mountain. I just looked it up - they drove a 1929 Ford Model AA.

nice bud fam!

So does that mean the engine and transmission is all original?

Yes, the only upgrade on the engine is it has a 6vt Alternator instead of the original generator.

Here is the pre-restoration pic....

Very Sweet Ride !!

I bet you don't need a diagnostic computer to adjust the timing and such wink

Lots to be said for feeler gauges for setting the gap in spark plugs and the points in the distributor.  Simplicity.
