Phish at Fenway 2019

Night TWO didn’t start until 830pm because it was raining. The night before they started at 700p. There is a 1030p curfew.
So when they finally came out tonight they opened with Carini which of course means that Trey is pissed. Tonight it’s obviously not because of tech issues or a catering problem but the bad weather. So he’s pissed and grinding out Carini when Page plays this “funny” sound effect of a woman screaming in horror/pain and it was at an inappropriate time.
You could see Trey shooting daggers at Page and it left you wondering how much Trey resents Page for not allowing the band to play more shows every year. $$$$

during the last song (not a good one) Trey Just starts yelling “YOU’RE ALONE” over and over again while looking at Page. Sometimes where there’s smoke there’s fire, and I’m watching this and seeing a lot of smoke.

Two and a half hour straight set (because of weather delay), plus encore (s)
Carini, Down w Diesease, 46 Days, 2001, Split Open and Melt, Suzy Greenburg, Wilson...just to name a few off top of my head, albeit minus some usual jams (46 days for one) most likeky due to time restraints etc, but other than that, there aint much to bitch about w this show unless you really just need to....if anything, i thought Friday was a little weak, and thats just on setlist, because musically, these guys are on fire....

The weather sucked but we got an excellent, long set of music. The sound was much better than I've heard at past Phenway shows.

See, it’s OK to be critical of the band! I thought Camden was a great three show run and NO, I don’t have my gills and I hear it’s a big deal. I don’t want someone just to order them off of amazon, I want the whole ceremony.

Speak w your local chapter ...im sure you could just take the 27 page Gamehenge test....or just do what i did and order em online, and have your own ceremony....
(If you do go to chapter, Show up w your old jones beach stubs, or any 80 s stubs to score brownie points...and practice holding your breath! Toughest part for me was always trying not to sing along while under, you're so right...very tough combo, almost unfair)
