A little birdie told me last night that Phil Lesh is supposed to be in Vermont for the Twiddle fest at the waterfront. They have his son's band opening one night. Not sure if this is legit, but I heard it from pretty far up the wire as far as little birdies go.

I mean, I'd say so. Midnight North playing Dead songs with Phil is pretty okay. And Phil was supposed to play with Twiddle back in February but had a flight get canceled (http://liveforlivemusic.com/news/cancelled-flight-causes-phil-lesh-miss-...), so maybe he's making up for two things here.

To attend a show(festival) based on a rumor that someone might sit in probably isn't the best way to proceed. If you are into Twiddle, I'm sure you will have a great time. Bonus points if Mr. Lesh shows up. As for more info on if Phil is going to appear...I guess we will all see.

I hear ya... I enjoy Holly Bowling but not into Twiddle. I've heard multiple people say Phil is showing up. Im curious if there was any rumor of which day and if its with Midnight North or Twiddle. I'd love to see Holly Bowling play with Phil and have Seth Yacovone show up to the waterfront. Beautiful day. One can dream.

I saw Twiddle last Oct. I enjoyed their show. For me it is all about Eliot Peck of Midnight North. She has a sweet fine voice. Plus Midnight North is getting better and better each time I see them.

Really fun night at the Cap
Really fun night at the Cap last night.
Phil sat in with Midnight North for Tennesse Jed, a midnight north original and Cumberland.
Phil then came out with Stella Blues Band for Casey Jones and a killer Looks Like Rain with Steve L. sharing the vocals with Elliott Peck.
Then the real fun started with a third set with everyone.
Viola Lee Blues, NFA>GDTRFB>NFA, China>Rider, The Weight, and some other stuff that I cant remember at the moment.
Phil looked like he was having a blast playing with the Stella Blues boys. He was very animated thru out the set.
Best Stella Blues Band show eva!
