wow!  a fun venue.

I'm guessing "X2" means two nights?

So PLF plays one night?

Jambase says the X2 bands will "each perform twice."

liveforlivemusic says "two sets."

Phil appears to be the headliner, so I would think he'd also play two sets, if not two sets two nights.

Yes, was expecting the return of Wanee with the Allman reunion, wish there a was a lil better lineup though

two sets for a bunch of acts, that is a great thing for a festival, tired of seeing good acts do 45 minutes

Phil's date is "not confirmed", but assuming it's Friday or more likely Saturday, I'm in for one day!

(Never a big camper- that's a Hampton to me).

This whole thing is somewhat mysterious... is Phil really schleppin' across the country for 1 or 2 shows?

Its 3 months out and can't be confirmed? Us Phloridians want phacts!  ;-)

Any idea how big this fest is?

its not about big at Swanee it's the place itself, I think at tops they get a lil over 20,000 in there but that is only at large shows, I would think that this will be more of a smaller fest, should be some laid back fun Florida Style, beware Florida Man will be there

wats up earl

Yo, Joe!

Is it me or is this weird their splashin' Phil with no confirmed date?

Smaller crowd will be just fine...

>>>>its not about big at Swanee it's the place itself<<<<

For sure. We're thinking about Suwanee Rising or Lockn.

And we can tell the fest grounds at Suwanee Park are a step above.

Lockn seems too big for us, but we hope to catch multi nights of Phil.

Phil's Suwanee date has popped up on his site-  4/16- only Thursday!   wtf.

^^^^I think they sometimes list the first night of a given festival until the actual dates get worked out.

Something about seeing that Thurs/first-night date seems familiar from keeping an eye on Phil's recent Summercamp and Peach shows.

Thursday Night = Hot Tuna at the Mushroom stage, my favorite night for lift off at most of the festivals that I have been there. Always on the Mark with a smaller, in the grove crowd, under the tree canopy

2019's Suwanee Rising daily lineup might be another clue that Phil's playing only one night:

It looks like a few bands played two nights, while moe., the 2019 headliner, played on the last night.

I've got a room res in a great location, but I don't see making the 10-hr drive for one night of Phil. For Lockn, on the other hand, I've got a room in what looks like a lousy location: Lynchburg, VA.

>>>>is Phil really schleppin' across the country for 1 or 2 shows?<<<<

Hopefully Earl's hunch plays out.

P + F still "not confirmed".

Beginning to wonder if the promoters "jumped the 'ol shark" here?

Jumping the shark is not the same thing as jumping the gun.
