Phil with Larry at TXR May 9 and 10

Forums:

Also with Teresa, Molo, Chimenti and Stu.

$69

sorry no link.

Great lineup.

You know what to do!

That should be incredible.

I wonder if a certain airdrummer might be in attendance...

Excellent group.

Phil has been bringing in really eclectic guests at TxR and putting together some great bands & shows. Stu & Larry should compliment each other well.

I'll be there on the 9th for sure, and now maybe the 10th as well.

Maybe.....  but Stu does nothing for me so probably not.

     Epic!

i'd like to see this, but don't think i can swing it so close to my recent trip.

Hi All,

I thought this thread needed a bump. Unfortunately, I 'm not at txr for this 2-night stand. However, the nugs.tv thing is an option. Tonight and tomorrow ane going to be real and spectacular. I hope everyone can enjoy, especially those of you that are at 100 Yacht Club Dr.

I would welcome any help with the setlist. I got too much sun today and my cognition isn't ideal.blush

GO TEAM PHIL!!!!!

(HI, lltd. Are you at the show?)

Some good people in this thread.  I thought of you, Moses, when this lineup was announced.

Hi Johnny D, long time seeing you either, hope your doing well as well.

Love AIn't No Cane on The Brazos, I guess there's no free stream?

Been listening to some LC era Dylan shows and missing that Never Ending Tour lineup.

Hey now momo Moses   Party in the water or continuing to dictate parting the water

how is the boy ?

I was at the airport Picking someone up    it was good to hear you on the black screen    been too long so I just pressed  send anyway. Including my rambling dictation

It wasn’t in the cards tonight but it seems like a pretty sweet lineup’

I’m doing all right perhaps perfecting the skill of complaining /// who knows

This is wonderful !!! I am streaming from South Jersey...and up late !!

Well worth it, they are having a blast :)  I adore Larry and Teresa with Phil.......Big Love for stream here <3.

Hey JohnnyD!

Thanks for posting up. I got distracted for a few.

....Mountains of the Moon (I love what Phil had done with this tune, since he brought it back.)

I am glad you are digging this, too, Cumberlyn! smiley

Thanks Moses, Big Larry and Teresa fan here, actually of all the players here.....wish Phil would bring these types of players back to the Cap.

  This is really great tho...:)

def groovin ~ Tom Banjo is my cat if you haven't guessed...love that tune !

Great show in the little room tonight.

Rock 'n roll, and a little bit more.

And I think they were just warming up. I wasn't planning on getting up there for the Friday show, but.....................

Sounds great, wish I'd been there. Have fun tonight, whoever goes!

they really need to work on the backdrop.

i like stu....but nobody except barry has approached ujb properly and melted faces from the jam/outro

Does Larry just stick to rhythm and blues or does he dive into the spacey leads sometimes?

too straightforward...

Stu can play the outro. He doesn't always use the envelope filter.

at least larry is smiling and using a strat

i saw the independent show, he played a gibson and didn't smile.

Sometimes I don't smile when I'm on shrooms because it feels like I'm grinch smiling when I'm on them.

>>>>too straightforward...

I agree.   He's great support musician but he's not pushing any boundaries

I have a single extra for tonight (Friday) if anyone is looking to buy.

Pretty Peggy-O ...

Larry on Mando, very sweeet !!

They are the same.

Stagger Lee, Momo & all.

Missed it.

I sure am glad I decided yesterday afternoon and I didn’t want to miss that opportunity

HOLY shit

Spec       tac       u      lar      !!!!
Stunning

It may be a while till I hear magic at that level again

random;

Chest fever just floored me  amazing rendition

Larry Played more leads and I might’ve expected and played damn well

With morning dew, I knew I was going to cry - maybe not as much as I have it at other times in the past  but Stu crushes  that song

It moves me

DARK STAR

From the  moment till the morning comes started, till the very last note just about perfect

Having that line up with our leader phil being the amazing phil we love blew my mind

In a band with really good vocals,  which rarely happens was a treat

And for the shows that I a see, too few bands have female vocalists

And Teresa was a godsend. Beautiful spirit shining beautiful composure beautiful feel for how to fit and also lead

 She was lovely and just beaming
~~~Radiant~~~
The set list was on point a beautiful blend
Molo even wore a fancy red cowboy shirt all the way through the first set
Chemetti was a star
 Molo was molo
larry was a star
phil is cute as hell and simply amazing
theresa made me gush
stu blended well    Allowing Larry room to roam and step up and lead while also providing good support.   and when it was time for his big leads he delivered
The demographic included a fair number of younger folks and not surprisingly A fairly male-dominated audience
I love those stars allowed for a complete Galaxy in that little clubhouse last night
long live music   GTTS
We don't get enough actual reviews around here; good job JJ.
"and didn't smile."
I find this very hard to believe.
