hoo boy whatta time !
my girl porsche had a ticket for me, and, with a 2 hour ride, Phil was basically in my back yard. ride was perfect
after a few treks around the block, said fuck this shit and scammed a space adjacent to the venue>>shakedown, ticket free, for the evening.
pre show, i saw an old school tour monkey i have known and loved for 2 decades, with his homemade hot dog cart and newly rescued boxer mix pupper! ran into ol gregg schmegg for a sec, and made a new pal from an hour away of home, (((((aquarius bob))))
i forgot that place is an oversold, concrete jungle drunk fest inside tho, and, it being so called independence day, mama was feisty.
so much so, that i got kicked out during the 2nd song for aggressively singing "abortions in the streets/doesn't matter what you wear, so long as you cut that baby outta there" within earshot of some sensitive frat boys who were very very frightened, and the 4'11" guard was somehow on their side. lololol
porsche traded me for a reading so i was satisfied that i saw enough of the inside of the venue (;
and did things perk up immensely after that!
outside was a wide swath of grass, cool breezes, and fun folks galore.
did some readings, made some trades, danced with all the room in the world for the Let it Grow, which was my only particular musical highlight. that said, the band was tighter and more cohesive than i could have hoped (:
it was more like a social event with Phil playing, which may have been my first ever such experience lol
afterward, the Mysterious Mr Fluff encouraged Bob & I to head over to wonderbar, where an old school jersey shore guitarist was sitting in with the #LDCB, and they did a FANTASTIC Breadbox ! like stellar. we never did see Mr F again. i hope to run into him again lol. he was a doll baby
then i dropped my new buddy off at his car (we met as he paid way too much money for a lot way too far away and walks with a cane, so, our friendship began with my offer to get him back after the show) and even got a Karen encounter for parking on the sidewalk to the building!!
on the way home at wawa, met this little fareie angel chickie rolling with her friend, also no older than 20, and yet, a hardcore Trey hater lolol. the cool girly has Phil's bday, and before I could extoll her on the virtues of the Helping Friendly Book, she was whisked away to the next bobby show, her girl's one true love
there is probably a bunch more. i will just leave it as:

OMG after picking ourselves up off the floor, my wifey says, " I'm not sure we can hang out with such a notorious rabble rouser "
Great stuff sister !
Our Amanda didn't get tossed but never made it in. She too found that chunk of grass totally within earshot and had a super time. I bet you saw her. Thanks for the early morning chuckles. Love you lots
