Thank you for posting! Was wondering if anyone here was gonna.

Alison Krauss! Now that is extremely cool.

Forgive me, but I'm hard pressed to think of two more mismatched vocalists than Phil Lesh and Alison Krauss. Especially on slow ballads. I'll have to check out the result - some day. Maybe.

Agreed on the mismatched vocals - she can sing like a bird, lesh a bullfrog -  which only leads me to hope Phil did not sing with her.

I think maybe it was Stu Allen who sang with her?

Just walked back in the door from St. Louis.

Phil 's set was nice. Sure, I have my own critique, more stop-n-start than I'm accustomed to with Phil, and lead guitar was a little more Jerry imitation than I prefer.

I was surprised when the band started. I expected Barraco, Molo, Grahame, and R James. Instead, it was Crosby, Molo, Stu Allen(maybe?), and someone else on guitar who I didn't recognize.

Hearing Krauss w/ Phil was an unexpected treat. Crosby's playing had some edge to it. If I recall correctly, Phil sang two verses the whole night: "looks like the old man" from BEW and the last verse of Cumberland. Sparse, but strong vocals.

Overall, Phil delivered on this night. I moved my ass off.

Krauss sang To Lay Me Down more like the Cowboy Junkies arrangement.

Where the "one last time" is a little different from the Jerry delivery.

Anybody know the guitar players?

Stu Allen and Cris Jacobs.

Any audio links?

I have a Bobby-sung DeadCo Black Peter approaching in three  tracks.  Help!

cheeky

I couldn't get to you in time, Blue! wink

Jambase posted video of To Lay Me Down.

Not a ton going on band-wise with this tune, but Krauss sings it good.

You gotta use fullscreen, or all you can see is the crowd.

Saw video of the Dew.  Pretty sweet (no Phil voxlaugh)

Here's the Jambase link I forgot to post, with AM Dew and Lay Me Down:

I can't find anything else from this show, except for little segments of Cumberland.

I'd like to hear the Eyes again.

I was hoping someone already posted Bangor.

The Box was perfection.
