My 3rd MMJ shoe....I first caught them up at Mountain Jam in 2006,

I won tickets for this one time only show..which was pretty darn special.

Anyway... enjoyed seeing them once again

Looks like a Fine Time.  Really nice lineup.

RRG,  did you folks camp out there or find nearby lodging ??  I would probably opt for a  pop-up camper over a tent if I ever went.  I've heard that the tent spots are a bit slopy.

Warning Track 4 of Steve Kimock - Crazy Fingers = Will Ruin Your Speakers ! , if anyone is able to Contact Z-Man To Fix it = appreciated ! just the 1 track here !

Hi Stu,

We stay at the lodge these days.

There are quite a few that are less than 5 miles away...

And after the Friday rains, I sure was glad we did.

The only "camping" that I would do,  would be in a nice little RV.

Looks like fun!

love that poster

Thanks, kindly, that is a very nice recording - did not do the VIP so did not see this acoustic show at the small Grove stage (BUT did do the GLAMPING for the first time so was able to weather the storm and still hear a lot of the music from the Mushroom Stage through the rains)

Friday eve JRAD was terrific and enjoyed Dopapod late night with the Turkauz Horns (they played with a lot of bands and always added something to the music)

Magpie Salute did well and MMJ was great on Friday eve during the downpours and caught the end of The New Mastersounds that night as well - they always bring it

Saturday was a vehemoth, with the Marcus King Band. Mule, WSP and then a really fine late night Umphreys show

Enjoyed a smoking Les Brers set on Sunday (they are now no more), as well as Joe Bonamassa before hitting the road

Great way to chill before returning to reality and getting kids off to college...

peach fest...its whats for dessert

JRAD & DSO held a Friendly competition to see who could play the old schoolie-est, jammy-est set.  & that worked for me.

The ABB tribute was merely that:  "Wow this is just like an Allman Brothers Band concert - only much Worse"  All the Karaoke singalong classics.  & the ABB fans, ugh, with their walkers & canes, all Incoherent, spilling drinks, falling all over, glad they all left once Mule's set started.

Magpie salute woulda been better if they hadn't resorted to the latter half of their set being nothing but a Black Crowes Greatest Hits compendium.  But yeah I know "Custy Festie Set"

Finally "Got" an Umphrey McGee's show after 3 - 4 x seeing them before, the parts where they sound like King Crimson connected for me.

Panic's Sunday set was the festival highlight for me - very jammy & what a setlist!

Having this fest @ a real venue paid off BIGLY on Fri when it POURED RAIN all afternoon, had to FIGHT to keep our seats for MMJ as the entire festival crashed the pavilion, eventually had to leave halfway thru as the cigarette smoke combined with the very moist still air created conditions akin to a WWI poison gas attack, then Lyn got knocked down by a drunk, ended up @ the medic station, not a pleasant end to Friday's festivities, but persevered for better times on Sat & Sun.  We did get to watch Lettuce & Chaka Kahn on the stream from our hotel room.  I'd go back if they had an equally good lineup.
