Pandemic Exercise/Hobbies Revisited

Whatcha been doing?

I dug out my old vintage 80's Gary Fisher Mtn Bike. No shocks whatsoever and center pull brakes haha! Tuned up the drive train/brakes. Swapped out the knobbies for some semi-road tires, (I actually used this bike on some mini-triathlons). Steel frame (heavy as sin) but rides great on the road.

Cleaning out the garage and I'm been eyeing that sea-kayak, hmmm...

Nice Treb!

living on mixed nuts (extra fancy)...

Hope all is well with youse guys...

I was reading 'Guitar King' about Mike Bloomfield. Seems like they dumped his car and him to die on Dewey Blvd near your hood, real sad, a great talent lost.

Turts, I can see that break from my house. Locals check it out for intel (no need for a stinking surf cam!)

Be well my friend...

Was riding a recumbent bike in the garage and working out on small nautilus set up. Decided I would buy a bike because of the sitting in one place boredom.

first ride about 4-5 miles

second ride, discovered I got a tack in my tire pushing it into the garage on my first return

trip to store, fixed flat then rode 6-7 miles

Talk about rubber legs, damn

going out now for ride number 3

I've taken up wake and bake again.

Just finished a handcrafted abstract stone sculpture for an art galley hosting their annual spring benefit for cancer care.

The bowl shape was carved from translucent Utah alabaster. The heart shape was carved from Colorado alabaster.

The theme of the show this year is "Cradle of Hope" so it will probably be named that  (It looks kinda womb-like in this photo to me).

Laying on the couch for a week sick

feeling better on Sunday into Monday then it hit me again

Feeling like shit

I guess my hobby at this time is livin

Stay safe Tim.

I hope and pray its just a cold. Keep drinking fluids and if at all possible get up and move around. If it is something other than a cold, Dr's are saying resting on your stomach (your lungs are actually centered more on to your backside so avoid being on your back) and trying your best to breathe deep to expand your airways is very important.

We love you

Pretty much everything said above is true and the situation is clearly less than ideal. I have some history with WI and my brother and other family live there as well. Former Governor Scott Walker left a lotta smoking craters and took the formerly great state back at least 100 years with really shitty policies and govt that seriously sold itself off to the highest bidders. It is not referred to as a Coch Industries affiliate for no reason and still (obviously) has devotees left in govt & courts. It'll be a rough ride for Avers but maybe the voters can bring some realistic sanity back to America's Dairyland. Brats, Cheese, and BEER for all!!

....my apologies for posting into the wrong thread. Coffee fingers on a phone keyboard do not mix very well. Carry On

I'm growing my eyebrows, with much success!

Be well, Tim.
