Oteil is going to be the artist-at-large at the Elements Music Festival in BC this coming August. I haven't pulled the trigger yet but an seriously considering it. Three nights of SCI, the triumphant return of Garaj Mahal and Kimock++. Oteil could be the special sauce.

I've seen Oteil hanging out
I've seen Oteil hanging out with Phil at TxR a number of times, and rocking out in the middle of the crowd during the music.
I've spoken with him a few times and he's been a totally cool and groovy guy, and he's a kick-ass bass player.
Oteil is OK with me.
