Ran across a full show recording of a June 1982 Jerry acoustic show w/ John Kahn at Neighbors of Woodcraft near the Crystal Ballroom....anyone go to this?
...what a sweet listen with a very vocal audience.. interesting that they repeated Ripple and Run for the Roses in both sets.... sorry I missed it....I remember seeing bluesman Willie Dixon there in the mid 80s....and that the room was small w/ folding chairs, i think?
Early Show > Deep Elem Blues > Dire Wolf > Valerie > Jack-A-Roe > I've Been All Around This World > Simple Twist Of Fate > Friend Of The Devil> Oh Babe, It Ain't No Lie > Ripple > Run For The Roses
Late show > It Takes A Lot To Laugh> It Takes A Train To Cry > Stagger Lee > Gomorrah > Little Sadie > To Lay Me Down > Deep Elem Blues > Russian Lullaby > Sing Me Back Home > Oh Babe, It Ain't No Lie > Ripple > Run For The Roses

Speaking of Garcia and Oregon
Speaking of Garcia and Oregon venues, one of my favorite Garcia/Kahn shows is from the Oregon State Penitentiary from around that same time:

The show is most often listed as being 5-5-82, but new research suggests it was actually 6-5-82, which would place in closer to the Portland show above:

Yes, I did talk about the South Eugene High School shows. I went to one of them, I believe it was 6/5, and it was really good, a very lovely show. I have tapes of one or both, excellent. Tapes of acoustic shows usually make me happy and these certainly did.

Oregon the band was good.
Saw them 2 times in Israel when I was working and living there in 1989. Saw the Jerusalem and Tel Aviv shows. Here's the Jerusalem show. The Tel Aviv show was better.
