Oregon Band

Forums:

Saw them in Israel in 1989. First in Jerusalem and then in Tel Aviv. Came back after living in the Mideast for 6 months and saw the GD at Giants. My only show of 89.

Only recording I know of Jerusalem I saw.

asking for a friend

another question for Doolittle: I that your surname?

in college I had a deadhead girlfriend from San Anselmo, S. Doolittle !

@BullShitStupid

What significance does that have to do with my posts????

Dumbass!!!!!!!

sorry to offend or take you on a tangent... thought you might be from Bay area!

carry on...

Bss, what're you up to? Not your usual style.

Asking for your friend, Me, and the community.

doolittle, Bss isn't stupid and is no dumbass, but he could have asked the same question in a different way that would have felt different and better.
You could have responded in a different way that would have felt different and better.

Sheesh.

LLOLLO, nothing offensive about your question, where it went, nor how it was worded.

You carry on...

oh ha ha I thought his question was directed at me, ha ha.

Thanks Judit.

I can be silly but I've never been called a dumbass.... tho maybe a smart ass ... ;)

Doing grate Judit, thank you! And howdy too llollo

it's just a really bizarre pattern of posting is all

pretty sure my friend got their answer lol

I appreciate doolittle's posts of concerts from other places and times. I'm not a big Oregon fan, but I'm glad to know where they were touring.

And that Ventura was so great for doolittle is good, and we all know it. And wherever else he's told us about. I do like it when a link is identified before I click on it.

I have to respect that when someone hasn't gone to shows recently, I don't know their reasons or what's going on in their lives. Like finances, physical and mental health - just a few of the things that keep us from going to concerts.

And last but not least, don't forget that doolittle doesn't go to "cover bands" so there are far fewer shows he'd want to go to. People's trips are their own.

Wow. That's a lot of contortions to provide a little cover for a dodgy hair trigger.

Mike, no. I forget that some things are lost on the black screen. Call them nuances or inflection or the way I talk.

More later

Yeah, you know, doo does at times leave himself open to pointed retorts, as we all can, but here he's just posting a couple of links to some music, with a little personal connection.

He's just posting some music here man, so why the shots?

Keep posting the tunes doolittle.

As to the OP, I saw Oregon a couple of times way back when, and again a while back (6 - 7 years ago?) but while they were very good they've just never scratched my particular itch.

Thanks for the positive vibes from some of you!heart

Thanks for the link, ateix. Interesting. And no, never saw him perform.

i know we are striving for civility but the constant hand-slapping is a bit much...

If you're talking about me, turtle, I agree.

If you're talking about other folks, I also agree

If somebody doesn't say shit to me I won't respond back and defend myself!  Show me one instance where I started something!? Never happened. I'm a peace loving spirit until.......

Oh, good. The internet tough guy persona.

Wrong again Mikey! Did you even read my post or comprehend it??

Always stirring up shit with me!

Give it a rest and get over it!
