Oh what could have been.....

Oh thank you!

Isn't that a treat? :)  Looking forward to the rest of his recordings!

Pretty, pretty cool.

Did this come out of Neil's recent releases?

Jim Jarmusch had a crew filming the last few of the legendary Old Princeton Landing Crazy Horse shows in '96, preparing for the movie he made of the following tour through Europe.

I've always wondered what happened to that footage, which almost certainly must be epic, and I've been hoping they might emerge with this purge Neil has done with his archives.

(Those 3-set shows in that tiny bar were epic, and THAT should have been what they made a movie about)

Lance, from what the gent wrote on Youtube, it looks like these are not Neil's, but belong to the videographer and HE HAS MORE!

Yes, it's a treat, indeed.

For those who are wondering what this is, it's Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Richie Furay rehearsing in 1986.

I didn't realize who the chubby guy with the sawed-off guitar was at first:)

That was quite the treat, thanks for sharing!

NY released a concert in Berlin in 1986-on cable TV -- with Bruce Palmer on bass - it's out there somewhere.

This is really killer. Thanks for sharing.

Stills seems pretty far out there. He looks like he may have been up for a day or three.

Nice share. Thank you.

great stuff!

Thanks for posting Joe! Cool stuff!

VERY cool

the last 30 seconds of the video are hilarious!

Awesome stuff. The 80's were iffy for a lot of 60's bands, though, either due to substance abuse, or (foolishly) embracing the technology of the day to sound 'relevant'.

Wow, great stuff here. What could have been indeed! Thanks a ton for posting this Joe.
