Once again, I have come upon a box of freebie CDs in front of a neighbor's house - about 100, mostly acoustic Americana (for lack of a better description), with a few electric bands like Talking Heads, Radiohead, & Paul McCartney. I'm listening to them in order from A-Z (Russ Barenberg to Townes Van Zandt). One of my favorite pastimes.
Streaming the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass sets, some live, some recorded, some archived for future viewing, all free! Terence Blanchard's set from NOLA was fantastic and worth checking out. Jackie talked a bit about his time with Phil.
