The New York Times is breaking a story about how Comey drafted a memo about a meeting he had with Trump back in February in which Trump attempted to pressure the former FBI director into dropping the investigation of Michael Flynn.
The White House is denying the allegations.

Treason has a very high legal standard and while the term has been used casually by critics, nothing Trump has done so far constitutes true "treason" under the law.
However, if this is true about Trump coming down on Comey to end the FBI's investigation into a former top official in his administration, this could have legs.
