We are hopefully closer to being able to announce the King Crimson dates in the USA this year.
Much still depends on the success of the vaccine programmes on both sides of the Atlantic, but these seem to be going well. According to the UK government schedule, gigs should be possible this summer. Hopefully, the same will apply in the US - where we still hope to play the vast majority of the cities from the original tour schedule, between July and September.
All being well, we still expect to close the year by playing Japan and possibly Australia in November and December.
Woo HOO! Just home today from 10 hour round trip (did not want to wait .... that was all they had 6 weeks ago) to get my 2nd Covid jab. Drove through a few whiteout squalls to get there , but I did it to be able to go to shows. Seeing this info today is some serious positive reinforcement Thanks.

Considering that those shows are the "drive-in" variety, the weather factor will heavily influence what the show will be like. It could be lovely spring/early summer temps, it could be cold rain and/or snow or anything in between those two things.
Even though this is like what we had in NJ last summer, glad to see some sorts of shows popping up.
Just got an announcement that the Decemberists show at the Edgefield I had tickets for in late July has been canceled. This show was first announced two months ago and was surprisingly easy to get tickets.
