Recap of the review above

Go to the fuckin show

3/27 Miami Beach

^^^^^^^

Nicely said Tim!

Mason at the Masonic

Be there the Ides of March!

Last night in Vancouver was The Shit. Anyone who loves old Floyd should not miss this. I was impressed with Mason s drumming, although he didn't always hit the fills like on the album's. The guitars were loud and raw. Add a trippy light show to boot and the psychedelic experience is complete.

I saw this was coming to The Beacon and Wallingford...

You guys don't have to twist my arm at all on this one.

Thanks for the reviews and such.

GTTS

I'll be there   - 6th row center at Masonic.....

>>>>>Have good center floors

Why more than one ticket?

The review linked above needs an editor like my kitchen floor needs sweeping and mopping.

That being said, my wife got me tickets and a babysitter for us for the night so we can travel to Boston and see the show there. Really excited and looking forward to it!

who's going...

4/20 in Philly

Why more than one ticket?<<<

I usually go to shows with my friends.

When tix are affordable I've been known to buy two for just me.

Leg room.

Like the “friends” that saw Robert Plant with you, or that autistic “friend” that stole from your store?

Either way enjoy the show.

4/12 at old Oakdale in Wallingford

I've never seen Robert Plant, what are you talking about?

I hope everything is alright with you, you seem angry and come across as a bitter prick.  Good luck with that.

Great show last night, folks.  Strongly reccomend this one.

>>>>>>I hope everything is alright with you, you seem angry and come across as a bitter prick.

You seem a little angry too.  But I figure you’re not since I’m not. I’m just riffing on the back and forth you and I have had for years.  Time for you to make a comment about me being raised Mormon now.

”Hey sweetie, it's me. Bad news; my boss is making me go to a show tonight."

I’ll be at The Masonic, for sure.

For the showgoers, there was an opening act (a solo acoustic guitar playing singer-songwriter).  Nick Mason's set started at 8:30 sharp.

Would love to, but after checking ticket prices, I'm out. I may just show up and drink some jambone beers  and see if I can scalp one for half what they're asking.

Saucerful of custies?

Is there any other kind?

I AM CUSTIE, HEAR ME...

...hey wait, I only paid $79 each for 2nd tier floor tix, which doesn't seem at all unreasonable for a night of Primordial Floyd (most of which I've never seen performed live).

ALL IN for Denver Paramount next week.

Tom, AKA Lance......I have an extra ticket for tomorrow night if you decide you want to go and you are solo......

Detroit maybe Buffalo

(But keep your seat PLEASE!!!)

Melt...

In a spandau ballet kinda way

Going to see Nick Mason’s band last night was literally like stepping back in time. Walking in that room and all set f a sudden it was 1967 in some London club. To say it was psychedelic would be an understatement. The music was oozing Syd Barrett’s signature psychedelia. Nick Mason can still play the drums with reckless abandon and tunes like Arnold Layne, the Colour Green, Fearless, Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, See Emily Play and Bike were all living, fire breathing vital songs. The light show pulsated and time was suddenly fungible,  It was truly an astonishing experience! Go to the show!

Really, if you ever loved Floyd do not miss this concert.

Awesome.  I can't wait.  I hope this band keeps touring

This will be my favorite show of 2019!   And it's only March.  Awesome night!

Agreed Gary!

Great show in Denver last night.

They have the sound dialed...in your face rock & roll!

^agreed.  I can't remember ever seeing a Floyd offshoot that didn't have their sound dialed. Nick Mason is no exception.

Thanks for posting the vids, Treb!

Glad you enjoyed it Ned.

A week later, and several of those tunes are still rumbling through my mind.

An early contender for show of the year.

I really could'a used this tour, 20 - 30 - 40 years ago.

Sigh... I'm really bummed that I wont be able to see a show on this tour... closest show to me is 100 miles away on a Monday night. Oh well, at least I have King Crimson to look forward to...

Trebel I really enjoyed that footage from the Masonic SF. Cool to hear Nicks thoughts on when Pink Floyd played San Francisco in the 60

The bass player is the one that stepped in when R Waters left the band. Solid

Went last night. Good fun!

Game day!

I can't just sit around here all day waiting for a flashback. Just got to get out there and start some shit.

Miami Beach

Took off at noon and headed south to Miami Beach. We went to a Puerto Rican restaurant Jimmies. It was a great dinner to start off out adventure. Monfongo. It is made with green plantains fried then smashed and mixed with black beans and a protein with a creole sauce or a garlic sauce. It is a very beautiful thing.

We dosed and we fuckin dosed hard. 600 mics.

I have been looking forward to this show for a damned long time, I first heard it almost 9 months ago and it is in heavy rotation at work. I was floored on how good that show was. Lights to perfect and I do mean perfect sound and it was loud!!

Set the controls was worth the price of admission alone.

80% and I do mean 80% of the crowd was video taping the show and only 5% were standing, dancing or tripping.

When the lights dimmed I could hear a handful of people yelling to SIT DOWN!  Then when they started the cocksucker behind me tried to physically get me to sit down. Without going into details the asshole has no doubt in his mind I was a stander and that he will never put his hands on a stranger again.

Besides that it was a night to remember. Top 10 shows I have ever seen and I have seen a few.

why do people go to concerts?

To video tape and sit on their asses and then leave early

Sounds like you're living your best life Tim. :) I can't wait for Detroit and thinking of going to Buffalo to the Shea

that's what it seems Tim.

glad you got through it.

Week later and I am still glowing from this show.

That is what makes a concert a winner. Being un for get able

We live in selfish times.

Fantastic show in Columbus last night!

GTTS!

Looks like Roger Waters is sitting in tonight at The Beacon.

All in for February 19th at the Moore Theatre in Seattle!
