Nice Weekend Ahead

Forums:

Headed to Flagstaff tomorrow. 550 miles. Campsites open Thursday at noon. Great lineup. But it may get a little cool.  https://pickininthepines.org/

With no Targhee Fest anymore, gotta do something. Lotsa friends go.

Saw Roger Waters Thursday and Bela and My Bluegrass Heart on Friday. Front row center seats for Bela and Company. GREAT show. Blew off going to Moab. So it's a nice musical week!

Lucky you, have fun.

That is a great lineup, seen several of those bands at String Summit, which also had it's final year this summer (didn't go).

Why is everyone sitting down in that photo though? ;)

Cause the Dusters aren't on yet, maybe? My first time. Maybe an older crowd. Pretty laid back fest, I hear.

Sounds like a fun time.

I'm also gearing up for a great weekend of sand, surf and music.

The changes in Asbury Park over the past 20 years are amazing. There is something for everyone these days and the blight has pretty much disappeared. This time of the year down at the Jersey shore is always the best temps and weather and this weekend is going to stick with the formula. Low 80's during the day, dipping to high 60's overnight, all day sun with not a drop of rain in the forecast. A music lineup that has something for everyone and the venue is the friggin' BEACH!!!

Besides the usual big acts, I'm really looking forward to Billy Strings, Wet Leg and Courtney Barnett.

Oh yeah, a pro surfing comp going on while the music plays. Not a shabby way to spend a weekend.

p.s. If anyone is looking for something to do, check out the Sea.Hear.Now social feeds. Lots of people trying to unload extras. It's a buyer's market out there.

Beautiful venue, Slick. Saw String Cheese there.

Enjoy!

Sounds like a great weekend in a lot of places. Happy times!
