they looked at the recent uptick in numbers and said "no go."

Yes, Plf, it sucks for the bar owners and customers, but it's too early to have a bunch of people crowded into a bar.

Fair enough - it may not have been a full-blown clan/kkk or even an actual Dumpster Don The Con rally but in reality it was close enough. It is fairly telling in terms of how easy it was in getting a significant portion of the audience to happily chant along. These days it's pretty much one on the same, sadly.

Exactly, doolittle. I doubt any state will go into full lockdown again as "money matters too" so each person has to decide and act accordingly to protect themselves to whatever degree works best for them. It sucks that it all feels so 3rd world but we are here now.

seems smart to me. i'd been reading about cases going up and reopening planned at the same time, didn't sound like a good idea.

I had dinner at a brewpub down in Salem a few weeks back (they had outdoor seating) and disposable, single use plastic products are in vogue once again.

Bummer.
