Listen To The River: St. Louis '71 '72 '73 (20-CD) $199.98

From Jambase:

The Grateful Dead will release the massive Listen To The River: St. Louis ‘71 ‘72 ‘73 box set via Rhino on October 1. Listen To The River contains audio featuring seven previously unreleased concerts recorded in St. Louis between 1971 – 1973. Various configurations are coming with the 20-CD set — limited to 13,000 copies — and accompanying digital downloads (FLAC, ALAC) containing the band’s Fox Theatre shows from December 9 – 10, 1971 and October 17 – 19, 1972 as well as two performances at Kiel Auditorium on October 29 – 30, 1973. Jeffrey Norman mastered the audio in HDCD sourced from tapes recorded by Rex Jackson, Owsley “Bear” Stanley and Kidd Candelario.

From Dick Latvala:

The 2 shows at the end of the month in St. Louis,Mo. were
both worthy of a future release with only the second sets. On
10/29/73, there is a pretty long jam that is concerned with "The
Other One" and on 10/30/73 it is "Dark Stars" turn. On each, the
playing is spectacular. The jam from the 10/29 show has simply
outstanding jamming around the songs and the songs themselves
are examples of the "best versions" category, especially "The
Other One", "Wharf Rat", "Sugar Magnolia" and "Casey Jones".
The "Eyes" from the following night is one of the best. The first
sets from both nights are not very interesting

The 10-18-72 2LP Release "Light To Ashes": PITB>DS>Dew>PITB
